Lilly nodded. "Good." she said softly going into the living room, as her son glared at the screen. "Robin." she said softly. he turned and gave her a hug. "I luv you momma." he whispered. she smiled as she hugged him. "I love you to." she whispered back before standing up. "Dinner's fairly soon. You can stick around for it, even if you don't eat." she said softly, watching him as she carried her son to the kitchen. The boy grinned as she put him in his chair. "Num?" he asked, she laughed slightly and nodded. She was prossesing everything she knew about Rory, and wha she coudl to do to help him.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,470px,true][atrb=bgcolor,63160F,true]He wasn't quite sure if that was just an invitation or a disguised demand. He glanced at the window to outside, where it was still raining a bit, and figured it was probably more along the lines of a command. If only because of her previous statement. He moved into the kitchen then, though he didn't sit down. He watched for a moment before he spoke up. Did... you need any help?He didn't necessarily need a distraction, though he wouldn't complain if he got one, which was part of the reason for his question. Mostly, though, it was just polite and, although he still acted childish on a regular basis, he did have manners. For the most part, anyway.

The young woman glanced at him, as she dug in her fridge. "can you use a knife?" she asked waving her hand to her set of nice knives. Good for both killing and making dinner. Though they'd only ever been used for food. She pulled out a few veggies. "Stirfry alright?" she asked both of them. Robin made a face but didn't say anything. She chuckled at him. "You'll like it Rob." she told her son softly, a slight smile on her face.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,470px,true][atrb=bgcolor,63160F,true]He nodded at her question, moving over to the knives. As he'd mentioned once before, cooking wasn't much of a problem for him. He peered at the knives, then grabbed an appropriate one and washed his hands before grabbing some of the veggies and started to chop them up, nodding again to signify that stirfry was fine. He chopped quickly, expertly even. He'd been debating becoming a chef before the CIA found him and gave him the option of jail or working for them. He worked through the vegetables he'd grabbed rather fast, but he didn't go on to keep cooking. It wasn't his kitchen, and she'd really only asked him to chop vegetables, so that was all he'd do. It had, indeed, been relaxing, though, making him focus on now, and not what might happen in a day, two days, a week, so on. He slid the cutting board toward her with a small smile. There you go.

The young woman nodded as he started. She nodded, grabbing some chicken and cutting it up. It was easy to do, and let her think. She glanced over as he pushed the cuttin board towards her. "Thank you." she said with a smile, as she finished. Then she went for her wok, in a cabinet above her head. Not the smartest place to keep it, but it was the only place big enough. She pulled it down and put it on the stove, to start heating it up. "Is there a special recip you use for stirfry?" she asked, including him.

He shook his head 'no'. He didn't have a particular recipe for anything, really. He wasn't much of a picky eater, never had been. He'd eat almost anything, though he drew the line at something like a cow tongue, whether it was a delicacy somewhere else in the world or not.
Anything's fine, don't worry too much about it.
He replied, pulling back where he'd be out of the way. He wasn't exactly intending to make thing more difficult.

Lilly nodded. "Mk, just making sure." she said with a slight grin, as she turned to start making the food. "Can you make garlic bread? Tastes good with Stirfry." she asked glancing behind her as she started. Robin had one of his blocks in hand and was looking between his mother, the block and rory. "Robin you throw that and no desert." she said sternly. The block got dropped and he gave her an innocent smile. "You are not inncent Robin. Don't evey try it." he giggled, and then started tapping his hands against the counter. She rolled her eyes as she started to add things to the stirfry.

He nodded and went about finding the bread and everything else he needed. He glanced over his shoulder at the comment from Lilly, noticing the block just before it hit the floor. He smiled and shook his head a bit, chuckling as he continued with what he was doing, reaching across to flick the oven onto broil to let it heat up. A really fast way to toast bread, only took a minute and it was perfect. So, whether she knew what he was doing or not, he did it. She'd have to trust him on it, but he didn't figure it was exactly a big thing. It was just bread after all.
He'd finished with getting the bread ready and on a pan when the oven beeped to let him know it was ready. He took a moment to find an oven mitt, for taking the pan out. Putting it in wasn't as big a problem.
'Scuse me.
He murmured as he slipped the pan in, then checked his watch, keeping an eye. A minute later, he slipped the oven mitt on and took the bread out, placing it aside, brown but not burnt. Perfect. As always. He reached over to turn the oven off then, puttin the mitt away.

The young woman reconized what he was doing, but she was paying attention to her food. She frowned slightly, nto even realizing that she was concentraiting on it until he said "'Scuse me." she nodded, stepping to the side as she continued. Then it was out and she was nearly finished. "Thank you." she said with another smile, as she finished the stirfry, and turned off the burner. She managed to get the pot holder before she burned herself, and got a bowl out, and three plates. She put some food on the smallest. "Robin you will like it." she said softly, as she gave it to him. He grinned. "Kart?" his word for carrot.

He let her finish everything, staying out of the way again. It didn't take long, and he waited for her to get some for Robin before he grabbed some himself. He didn't grab much, still not actually hungry. He just knew he should eat, so he would. He found a seat at the table sitting down to nibble at what he had on his plate. It was good, but that didn't make him shovel it down. He just... Wasn't hungry. And that was that.

Lilly grabbed her own food and sat down glad he was eating. "Robin." The boy had tried to put food in his hair again. He grinned and ate it instead. She sighed, glancing at Rory. "Can I do anything for you?" she asked softly, watching him carefully.

He glanced up at her question, finishing his mouthful first before he shrugged.
Probably not. I know I was like this a bit after Eric. I think I had... About a therapist a year or so for a while. No help then. Really, its just... Time that helps. Time and distractions. The, uh... Shoes... Were a part of that, the habit just didn't die.
He replied with a smile, trying to reassure her that he'd be fine. And he would be. Eventually. Especially once they found the rogue agent and he fixed the holes in the school's security, however many there might be.

Lilly eyed him. "Really?" she asked, not believe him. "Becuase you didn't look fine just a bit ago. I can help you know. If you want to know how to fire a gun or anything, i can show you." she said watching him. She didn't believe he was fine. Becuase he wasn't, and it was obvious to her.

He didn't mention he'd thought about asking her to teach him how to shoot. He hadn't been thinking straight at all and now that he sort of was, he knew for a fact he'd never be able to pull the trigger. Not while it was aimed at a living, breathing person or creature. He looked back down to the food on his plate, pushing it around a bit.
Didn't say I was fine, just that I'd be fine.
He muttered softly. It was true. He would, eventually, be fine, even though he certainly wasn't right now. He forced himself to take another bite, knowing he should. His next words were murmured more to himself than to her.
I just probably won't sleep until I fix the holes in the school's security.

Lilly sighed. "My point is that your not fine now. And i want to help." she said softly, taking a bite, and glaring at her son, who started to eat the bread after trying to steal her's. He smiled. She shook her head. He was a brat. "There's holes?"
