[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,470px,true][atrb=bgcolor,63160F,true]He chose not to respond to her first comment, mostly because he didn't know what to say. It wasn't that he wasn't good with accepting help, he just... didn't know how she could help. Didn't even knowing if she could. If it hadn't been for him not thinking earlier, she wouldn't even know and he'd still be back at the Academy and he probably would be fine there too. He'd just needed to get out, and he'd ended up here when he did. So, he turned to the subject that was simpler for him to answer, nodding. Yeah. I was going to work on setting up some better security measures when I found them. Didn't really look at it too much, cause I got the call just then. I don't know how many holes there are, but there's definitely holes. And I'm not just talking camera blind spots, I haven't even looked at those yet. This is just doors into the data where there shouldn't be any. Betting it's something to do with the mole. I doubt those holes were there after the last security update. I mean, they aren't that stupid. Backdoors, I could see them leaving there, but these are right in the open.He replied, slipping back to that train of thought, it was a much easier one to stick to. Made him a little worried, yes, but it wasn't a catastrophe that was going to get him or anyone else killed, at least, it probably wouldn't unless he ignored it for long enough. Which, of course, he wouldn't do. Agent Jackson, on the other hand... Well, that had clearly set his mind, at least at first, into a state of panic. And for good reason. So, he was quite happy to the less threatening of the two topics.

Lilly frowned at his words. "Odd. I'm not perfect with computer's but i helped with the last sweep, and there were no holes. And i do know what they would look like." she didn't like it. Something was off about all of that, but hm. She frowned slightly as she ate in silence. "Well I may not know much about Hacking, but if you need help, i'm willing. I know basics after all." which hadn't really helped in her carrer, but oh well.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,470px,true][atrb=bgcolor,63160F,true]He listening, back to pushing his food around. They had field workers checking their system before him. Great. Another thing they hadn't told him. Idiots. Sure, they could spot the obvious ones, like the ones that were there now, but that didn't mean these holes had started out as obvious. He raised an eyebrow at her offer. How... basic.... are your basics? If it's all you learned in boot camp, that isn't going to cut it.He informed her, knowing it would have to be a deeper sweep, fix all holes and all backdoors, leaving only his own, singular, back door. Only appropriate people and those who found his back door(had never happened yet) would get in after that, unless they were almost as good as him, or on par. There wouldn't be many, and that would be the point.

He was questioning her, which frustraited her. "I was trained to get through CIA security. Last time before i came to the school, I got half way through before i was 'found.'" she said in her defence. Not all that impressive, but then again that wasn't what she was used for. "I know mainly crude things that'll get me through a security system quick. I was a field agent, not a hacker. But i'm not stupid. I can read things fairly well. Hunter's better at it than me. But then again he remember's things like he has photographic memory." she knew he didn't, he just had excilent memory. He didn't forget things easily. Ever.
"So i guess i'm probably no help..." she sighed. "I can do something about the Camera holes though. Those I know about. Mainly the underground has a few around my class room becuase i need to show students about how to get around most security systems... But we may change that if it's to much." she said thoughtfully.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,470px,true][atrb=bgcolor,63160F,true]I'm not saying you can't hack. Just that hacking and fixing holes through programming are two completely different things. They may complement each other, but that doesn't make them the same.He replied, taking her offense at his questioning rather in stride. He was used to pissing people off when he got all cocky about the hacking stuff. He also trusted her not to punch his lights out, which was probably what gave him the guts to ask in the first place. And I'm not using the students. They aren't supposed to know that the school isn't safe these days, and the ones who are good enough to help? They'd figure out it wasn't just some little assignment for bonus marks really, really fast. And he didn't do well with lying or being interrogated. At all. And he was pretty sure the kids would be able to call him out on lying than question him and he probably wouldn't be able to keep his mouth shut. At least he knew himself well enough for that. Most people would be too arrogant to realize and would try to get the kids to help anyway. Then she mentioned the camera holes and his mind was officially off his own troubles, though his attention on that had been waning for the past few minutes. It was then the hunger hit and he shoved another mouthful in his mouth and chewed, swallowed, before he responded to her comment regarding the cameras. No camera holes. Period. You want them to learn about avoiding cameras, you turn a select few off at any given exercise for the duration of that exercise only. Then, you know exactly where the weaknesses are and you can switch it up every time so that it won't be constant and won't be predictable. It'll probably help them in the long run anyway.
